Larchmont Opti Day

Opti Day, part of Larchmont Yacht Club’s 117 Junior Race Week took place for Area B and C sailors in Larchmont, New York on Thursday, July 16.

The event turned out to be a great success, with beautiful weather. Wind averaged at eight miles per hour, reaching a 15 mph maximum and decreasing to around five mph in the afternoon. Conditions seemed favorable compared with C420, Laser, Radial and Pixel Junior Race Week. Race Committee ran three races for all fleets.
