The annual JSA of LIS Event Management Workshop for junior regatta hosts has typically been scheduled in April or May. Regatta chairs, race officers, regatta committee members/volunteers, sailing and program directors have been welcomed to discuss their best practices during these workshops.
2024: April 14, 7:00 – 9:00 pm via Zoom. A substantial portion of the meeting will focus on two related topics: 1. Preparing Sailors for Regatta Success, and 2. Organizing a Successful Regatta. The moderated discussion format of this workshop will help us learn from one another about the practices for managing successful regattas that are enjoyed by the competitors who attend.
