In recognition of our Centennial Year and the incredible journey we have undertaken, we invite you to consider making a gift of any amount to the JSA of LIS Centennial Campaign. Your support will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of JSA, allowing us to continue fostering and coordinating programs and activities that support instructors and inspire sailors to experience the joy of sailing while nurturing a lifelong passion for this wonderful sport.

Your gift will help support the following areas:

  • Instructor Support and Training through Seminar & Workshop Speakers:  the JSA is dedicated to continuously improving and supporting its coaches. Investing in talent retention ensures continuity and expertise within the organization, ultimately benefiting the athletes and the entire sports community. By providing coaches with access to the latest tools and best practices, the JSA is not only enhancing their skills but also enriching the experiences of the athletes our coaches serve.
  • Marine Ecology Education: the JSA is embarking on a program to educate sailors about the importance of Long Island Sound with the goal of instilling in them a sense of stewardship which is crucial for the future health of the Sound and the surrounding environment that they call their marine playground.
  • JSA Athlete Grants: allocation of grants to Junior Sailor Members of the JSA who demonstrate outstanding competitive sailing potential. The funding may go towards travel, equipment, coaching, or other necessary items that would facilitate a team or individual sailor to compete in a major regional, area or national championship for youths and juniors sponsored by the US Sailing Association, such as the championships listed on the US Sailing website.
