Regatta support teams at JSA clubs hosting regattas in 2019 are invited to learn about new topics and share information. View the detailed agenda for the workshop and register your club’s junior regatta team at this link.
- This year’s workshop will provide a hands-on demonstration of JSA’s upgraded Regatta Registration and Management platform powered by Clubspot, which incorporates the Regatta Toolbox system rolled out last summer. The Clubspot platform is new and improved and the workshop will provide an opportunity to learn about its features and how to effectively use them (bring your laptop or tablet). Each host club should send at least one representative to learn about the Clubspot features.
- The workshop will also feature a special presentation with open discussion to guide race officers about effective ways of managing large numbers of boats on the starting line, which often occurs at Optimist dinghy events.
- We’ll also review the updated templates for the Notice of Race, Sailing Instructions and race courses that are used by hosts of JSA qualifier and championship events.
