2025 JSA LIS McIntyre Team Race
The 2025 Malcolm McIntyre Trophy Team Race championship for up to ten teams of six persons from JSA LIS programs sailing doublehanded boats provided by US Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point NY, will be held on the weekend of August 2-3.
This classic regatta, now in its 83rd year, provides an excellent opportunity for club juniors to team up and compete in a fun environment. It is a perfect primer for juniors who team race at their home club, at their high school, or who plan to sail in college. Mixed teams combining sailors from two or three club programs are also welcome.
If your club has enough sailors for more than one team, you may be able register two six-person teams. Or, if your club does not have six sailors for a team, you may combine sailors from your club and another club to form one team.
The coaches will include Henry Millette, head dinghy coach at USMMA, who will lead the event. Along with him will be Connor Corgard, assistant dinghy coach at USMMA.

Please be sure to register your team(s) by the regular entry deadline of July 25. Although later entry may be possible, the days prior to the McIntyre will be very busy with other events and we don’t want you to miss this opportunity.
