What’s New in the 2025-2028 Racing Rules by Dave Perry
An Interactive, Fun & Educational virtual presentation on Tuesday evening April 29, 2025, 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Dave Perry, an alum of the JSA LIS, will is well known for his enthusiastic and engaging teaching style for sailors and race officials of all ages and levels, as well as highly respected for his deep knowledge of the sport of sailing. He is one of the sport’s leading coaches and rules experts, serving on the US Sailing Appeals Committee and being the Rules Advisor for the US Sailing Team at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Dave will explain the significant changes in the 2025-2028 Racing Rules of Sailing that went into effect this year. He is going to make us feel like we are all sitting together talking about the rules. Throughout the session, Dave will encourage us to jump in and ask questions to assure we have a good understanding.
