Membership in US Sailing is required. Final entry deadline is July 2.

US Sailing membership will be validated during the registration process, but JSA LIS membership is not required. Therefore, JSA club admins are unable to enter their club’s sailors. Instead, the entry for each four person team will be made by the parent of the skipper. After providing the info for the skipper, the parent will add the names and emails of the three crewmembers, who will each receive a request from Clubspot to fill in their own information, similar to this procedure. The skipper’s parent will pay the $400 entry fee online, and afterwards may request reimbursement of $100 from each of the three crew members.

WFC will provide the supervision and safety patrol, so club coaches are not required although they are permitted by the NoR.

At the US Sailing Area B quadruple-handed youth championship on July 7-8, keelboats provided by The Waterfront Center will be raced by teams of four persons each boat representing the six US Sailing Area B regions (Hudson River, Eastern CT, Eastern LI, Great South Bay, Western LIS, and the Virgin Islands).

Two of the top finishing teams from this event will represent US Sailing Area B in the fleet that will race J/22s with crews of four people at the St Francis YC, San Francisco, CA, during the Chubb U.S. Youth Championship for the Sears Cup Trophy from August 7-10, 2025.
