REGISTRATION TIPS FOR PARENTS
– New parent users: the registration process should take about five minutes to create a new user account in your own name, not your sailor’s name, and then register one or more new sailors with the required information that is detailed below.
– Returning parents from last year: your user account remains active to enable you to renew and update your previously registered sailors for this year, and add new sailors if you wish.
Please follow the prompts at the link above to create a new user account for yourself, or login to your existing user account, then register or renew each junior sailor through The Clubspot. Parents may get help using the JSA roster system by emailing roster@jsalis.org

 Have these details handy
• Two Emergency Contact names, mobile phone numbers and email addresses
• Medical Conditions, doctor and insurance
• Boat Type and Sail Number (if your junior sailor knows the specific boat they will sail)

Double-Check Emergency Info for Accuracy
The information you provide will be used by your Sailing Program Director and by Regatta Hosts to contact you in case of an emergency. It is very important to provide accurate emergency contact details and thoroughly describe any medical conditions or allergies that your junior sailor may have.

Select a Registration Plan
Once you have completed the required entries, you will see a box entitled “Select a Registration Plan.” Click the box that says “Standard.” Then complete your registration by clicking the blue button at the bottom that says “Register with JSA.” The yearly JSA membership dues per family will later be paid by the junior program in which your junior sailor participates this summer.

Sign the Waiver
After you click the blue “Register with JSA” button, the system will automatically send an email to the address you entered entitled “Your JSA of LIS Membership” indicating that your registration is complete. You will also receive another email entitled “Signature Request from JSA of LIS.” Please open that email, and click on the blue link that says “sign this document.” You will be asked to check three boxes to acknowledge terms of the waiver and medical authorization, and then electronically sign by clicking on the blue “Sign – Your Name” button at the end of the document. You will then receive a third email with a copy of your electronically-signed waiver for each sailor you register.

What if I don’t get the Confirmation and Waiver emails?
If you do not receive the confirmation and waiver emails, the emails may have landed in your spam/junk email folder, so look there: the emails will come from “ClubSpot LLC” or “eSignatures.io” Or, a misspelled email address may have accidentally been entered in the Primary Parent/Guardian section of your registration. Follow the updating instructions below to verify and edit your email address.

Updating/Changing Your Data is Easy
It is easy to update your own user account information or that of your junior sailors. Just return to this page and click on the link above. Login to your personal user account and you will see a listing of your JSA sailor member registrations. Click on the entry that you would like to update, edit the information, then scroll to the bottom and click the blue “Update Details” box. You will not need to sign a new waiver when you update your sailor registration information later in the same year.
